Morning walk on Dartmoor

Spent the morning walking on Dartmoor.  Dusting of some navigation skills and enjoying the relatively empty moor.  The slighty inclemant weather puts the masses of people off this time of year.  No snow though, very different from last years conditions.

Couple of Ponies, tail into wind...looking quite content.  Backgound has Lynch tor on the left.



Infamous stone circle (North of Great Mis tor)...one can imagine at the shananigans that occured here...or still do!

Seal resting on Start Point

Seal!  This photo was taken a few years ago on a nice summers day.  Seal was quite relaxed from what I can remember, despite me bobbing around in the kayak.

Stroll around Start Point

Jim and I went for a stroll around Start point to see how the stormy weather had churned the sea up.  Good day with some interesting conditions. It was forecast for a SE F5-7.  Photos can be found by following the hyperlink below.
