A secluded campsite looking West towards Lundy (not visible).

All packed up and ready for the off!

Looking at Hangman's point from a ridge which can be paddled over at high tide.

The other side of the ridge...caves are good to explore at higher tide levels!

The bird lfe is fabulous along this stretch with numerous species inhabiting the exposed cliffs along the Exmoor stretch.

An early morning start with Rob along the Exmoor stretch...it's a conmmiting Journey with no easy 'outs'.

Twilight viewed from half way up the cliff...campsite is below.

The rock hopping and stunning beaches make it a fabulous place to explore...every hour of tide provides something different.

The steepest beach I have ever come across. We stopped for the night on the pebble beach at the top...a challenging seal launch ensured the following morning.

A lunch stop...notice the amount of kit out. The tide quickly had us in the small cave trying to finish lunch and launch from an interesting position.

Waiting for the tide and weather to sort themselves out...a good snooze.

Another brilliant campsite on a summer's evening.

Braunton burrows just before sunset.

The campsite at Braunton Burrows.

Another idylic campsite, (East of Ilfracombe). Good roll mat ensures a good night's sleep on the pebbles.

Sandy beach before reaching Hartland Point...perfect surf for us.

The Exmoor coastline in all it's glory.

Another campsite...tricky landing...however the Hunter's Inn is only 500mtr down the track!
Well I hope you enjoyed this wizz through the joys of the North Devon coastline. It is an area which I never get bored of exploring and one where I have had many multi day trips giving a true feeling of adventure...and some very memorable times with some good friends.
